2023 Grenache Blanc

Tasting Notes:
The entry is soft and rich, with underlying acidity and flavors of meyer lemon, honeydew, and ripe tangerine. The finish has soft edges from the lees stirring, creating a balanced, mouth-coating texture with great density.
Pairing Suggestions:
Pair with oysters, ceviche, light pastas, and cheese.
Aging Recommendation:
Drink now through 2034.

90% Grenache Blanc, 7% Picpoul Blanc, 3% Viognier
Harvest Date:
Grenache Blanc – Block 34: 9/24/23 Viognier – Block 36: 9/13/23 Picpoul Blanc – Block 46: 9/17/23
Fermentation:
Fermented in two Hungarian 500L puncheons and the remainder in neutral French oak barrels. The barrels were stirred once per week after finishing primary fermentation to incorporate the lees (battonage). This wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Aging:
Aged for 10 months in neutral French Oak.
