2021 Syrah

The entry is soft and layered with flavors of berry compote, black plum, tea, and crème brulee. The richness on the midpalate transitions smoothly into a finish marked by soft tannins and approachable intensity.

Syrah – Block 43: 10/2/21 Grenache – Block 41: 9/26/21

Destemmed and fermented in closed top fermentors, with delestage daily for the first few days of fermentation followed by open pump-overs two to three times daily for an average of 12 days.

Aged for 16 months in 59-gallon French oak barrels, 30% of which were new oak.
