In rare years we bottle a limited quantity of single varietal Viognier. This wine expresses the natural characteristics of the varietal while maintaining a balanced and refreshing palate. Aromas of apricot, orange marmalade and tuberose lead to flavors of white peach, nectarine and citrus pith.

Blend: 100% Viognier
Harvest Dates: Viognier Block 36E: 9/11/18 Block 37: 9/14/18 Block 36W: 9/25/18
Fermentation: Fermented in neutral French oak barrels. The barrels were stirred once per week for the first two months after finishing primary fermentation to incorporate the lees (battonage). This wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Aging: Aged ‘Sur Lie’ six months in the same vessels it was fermented in.
Alcohol: 14.10% pH: 3.45 TA: 6.5 g/L
